2026-2027 Scholarship Announcement
The United States Army Warrant Officers Association Scholarship Foundation (USAWOASF) is pleased to announce that it will once again be offering scholarships for the 2026–2027 year. The USAWOASF was incorporated and federally recognized as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in 2003 and is a separate entity from the United States Army Warrant Officers Association (USAWOA).
🎓 TWO SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMS FOR 2026-2027:
1. Traditional College Scholarship - For students attending 4-year colleges and universities pursuing bachelor's degrees.
2. Vocational/Technical College Scholarship (NEW!) - For students attending vocational schools or technical colleges in any field of study. These are typically 2-year certification programs, and you may apply for a second-year scholarship after completing your first year.
Each scholarship has its own separate application packet. Choose the one that matches your educational path.
Eligibility
Both scholarship programs are open to children (natural and adopted), grandchildren, and dependent stepchildren of Members in good standing in the USAWOA. Sponsoring members must have been members of the USAWOA at the date of the application.
Important Eligibility Notes:
- If you received a USAWOASF scholarship in the 2025-2026 academic year, you are ineligible for the 2026-2027 cycle.
- Only ONE USAWOA scholarship per student per academic year is authorized.
- For Vocational/Technical scholarships: A maximum of 2 USAWOA Foundation Vocational/Technical College scholarships are authorized per student (one for each year of a 2-year program).
Key Dates & Information
- Application Window: February 1 – June 30, 2026
- Application Deadline: Packets must be received NLT June 30, 2026
- Announcement: First week of August 2026
- Distribution: Paid directly to school financial offices

For students attending vocational schools and technical colleges
NEW for 2026-2027! Open to students taking any field of study offered at vocational/technical schools. Typically 2-year certification programs. You may apply for a second year of vocational/technical scholarship after completing your first year.
